Ensino idiomas desde 2016 — inglês para brasileiros e português para estrangeiros. Trabalhei em escolas, morei fora, dei aula para gente de dezenas de países. Em algum momento ficou claro que o problema quase nunca era gramática.
I've been teaching since 2016 — English for Brazilians and Portuguese for foreigners. I've worked in schools, lived abroad, and taught people from dozens of countries. At some point it became clear the problem was almost never grammar.
Era repertório. Gente que sabia conjugar verbos e travava numa reunião, numa viagem, num jantar. Que estudava há anos e ainda sentia que o idioma era uma matéria — algo que se passa numa prova, não algo que se usa para viver.
It was repertoire. People who could conjugate perfectly and froze in a meeting, on a trip, at dinner. Who had studied for years and still felt the language was a subject — something you pass a test in, not something you live in.
A RAFFE languages/ nasceu disso. Aula particular para adultos, construída a partir do que você faz, lê, assiste e precisa resolver. Sem estética escolar. Sem conteúdo genérico.
RAFFE languages/ came out of that. One-to-one lessons for adults, built from what you actually do, read, watch and need to handle. No classroom aesthetics. No generic content.
